Petula Clark was the most popular British Female Pop singer in America during the 1960's.Arriving there with the British Beat Boom she scored a massive American hit with her single " Downtown".Petula was far more popular with American Audiences than other British pop singers such as Dusty Springfield and Lulu.

She had been a child film star in Britain in the late 1940's.early 1950's.In 1957 she scored a big hit in Britain with her single " Baby Lover".Various TV appearances followed and then in 1961 she topped the British charts with her single "Sailor".Shortly afterwards Pat moved to Paris where she learned to speak Fluent French.She had a run of Atmosheric Ballad hits in the French charts.It was in 1964 however that she went mega.This great DVD features 27 great performances by Pet filmed between 1957-1966.
