 Product Description

The Jazz Singer DVD, Danny Thomas, Peggy Lee, Rare 1952 Film, Black & White Version

Not a new DVD but in great condition in a plain cover.Narrow Screen Format.

This film is very, very rare and difficult to obtain. This is the Black and White which was possibly a T.V recording but it is good.

The Film was nominated for an oscar in 1952.Danny Thomas plays the part of a Young Jewish Soldier just out of the Army.He dreams of being an Entertainer and Young Jazz singer Peggy Lee helps him with his dream. However his Father is a Religously conservative Cantor in the Synagogue and his dream is for his son to take over his position.

Great songs including "Lover" "Just one of those Things" "I'll String along with You" "The Birth of The Blues" "This is a Very Special Day"
