The original 1989 British T.V Version DVD is by far the best version of this story by far.We originally saw this in an old victorian house when it was first screened in Britain on Christmas Eve 1989 and we were scared to go to upstairs to bed later that night..This chilling story stars Adrian Rawlings and Clare Holme [ from the Lewis detective series as a young woman. Do see this great English Ghost story by Author Susan Hill.
Quality is 1989 good.The opening credits are a little shaky but other than that very good.

After the Susan Hill book this is the best film.

Been after this film for years, ever since I read the book and saw the film on TV. After a shaky start on the opening credits the quality is pretty good. It was a fast delivery despite Coronavirus delaying many postal deliveries. Will definitely use again.
