It is a fact that The Shadows were as responsible for the 60's British beat boom as The Beatles.Between 1960-1962 [Pre Beatles] they influenced so many young British kids with their instrumental music that all over Britain 4 piece bands,Drums,Bass,Rhthym Guitar,Lead Guitar sprung up everywhere.So when The Beatles broke big in Britain in 1963 there were a mass of 4 peice bands who just had to add vocals.British pop was then ready to conquer the world.
