Not a new DVD but in great condition in a plain cover and is not avaliable on other web sites.

Diana Rigg tells the story of The Lark Ascending voted the favorite classical piece of English listeners.Even internationally it has a huge following.

Ralph Vaughan Williams completed this lovely piece in 1920 and it was first performed with just Violin and Piano in Shirehampton public hall just outside of Bristol.

In late 2011 it was once again performed in the same venue and here we have its complete 14 minutes.Performed as originally done in 1920 Charles Matthews is on Piano and rising star 15 year old Julia Hwang is on Violin.Superb,wonderful,outstanding.
